"The Deepest Depths of the Burrow" Screening and Talk

  • Art Theatre of Long Beach

Documenting the adventures of Nychos as he traverses the world and painting every corner of it. Within the last two years Nychos was accompanied by filmmaker Christian Fischer who recorded his journeys to create a full length film. ”The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow” is a documentary about art, lifestyle and subculture. The movie captures the experiences of Nychos and other members of the RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT within the last several years. Exceeding the Austrian scene, they flew from Berlin to San Francisco to Copenhagen to Hawaii and many more places to visit artists who all provide a unique view into their (street) culture. They lead Nychos through the streets of their home cities and show them the deepest depths of their burrows. ”Travel to paint, paint to travel” is the motto, which runs like a golden thread throughout the entire movie.

After the screening of "The Deepest Depths of the Burrow", we will host a special 1-2-1 talk between Jeff Staple and Nychos.

Seating is limited. GET YOUR TICKETS NOW.

What:
In partnership with Flexfit, we are proud to announce that POW! WOW! School of Music will be coming to Long Beach. Already in our 3rd year, POW! WOW! School of Music will build upon its success from Hawaii and expand to Long Beach in order give local and young musicians an opportunity to collaborate with music industry professionals and taste makers. This expansion to Long Beach could not have been consummated without the help of Imprint Culture Lab and our close associates at InterTrend, who are monumental cultural brokers to the Long Beach community. An action-packed program is planned for the POW! WOW! School of Music Long Beach. Participants will be able to partake in daily roundtable discussions amongst musicians and collaborate on musical ensembles, including the opportunity to produce the theme song for POW! WOW! Long Beach. Furthermore, POW! WOW! School of Music participants will also perform at key events during the festival.
